A lot of Ford cars from the 50's 60's and early 70's had these AC set ups. In the right car (like an early Mustang) they are quite valuable. The complete set up can be sold/bought for a couple hundred dollars or so. I guess that's what you mean by how much is it worth. As far as the value to your car it doesn't make it a rarity. Tons of cars came with AC.

There was a complete NOS set in the box, on eBay recently.
Front to back, all parts, new old stock...
They wanted a few hundred bux for it BIN, IIRC, but it never sold.

Cool. I haven't seen one like that before. I'm used to the ones that don't span the whole package tray.

When i was working in the local Ford dealer when our car wrer new 68 thru 72 . The a/c guys installed units like that in many non a/c cars ( pinto , maverick , pickups ) . That unit is a after market unit design for a mav and made by ARA or some other manufactor . If you have all the parts it should be a good unit for you . Any good a/c shop should be able to get you any parts you need to get it working .
