will all the ford I-6 engines bolt into a maverick. I have found a 300 6 and headers that I can get for free motor, c-4 tranny and headers. Hoping it will be direct bolt in, if not will the headers work with a 200 i6.

    Not easily

The Ford 300 I6 is a totally different engine family than the 170"/200"/250" engines. The height, width, length and weight are all different. Fact is that almost no parts will interchange. Headers will NOT interchange. I am not sure if the bellhousing for the C4 is the same or not. Don't have access to the right book at the moment.

That said, with enough desire and money, anything is "possible". Just not very practical.

Sometimes, "free" and "cheap" are anything but. I would probably take the motor if it is in good condition, sell it and use the money to purchase parts that will work with the 200 that you have already.

They can be put in but there are installation issues with the motor mounts, pan configuration, radiator and other things.
Last one I saw ran 11.6 seconds in the quarte mile at all Ford weekend Englishtown , N.J.
