Headers ???

    Does anyone know if someone makes bigger than 1 5/8 headers for a 72 Maverick with a 302 ? Thanks

    How wide are the ports on these? The flange bolts pinch the tubes on my 1 5/8" headers as it is.

    Wouldn't the Crites 1.75" be easier?:huh:
    The Hookers take adapter plates and mods to get on a 302.
    The Crites bolt in...

    The only problem is that they are in the middle of a limited production run, so in order to get some, you have to order them RIGHT NOW!
    The Crites are roughly 100 bux cheaper than the Hookers too.

    :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::rofl::clap:Dont say anything at all !!!!!!.....I have the right to remain silent .....but I wont use it !!!!:rant:...That stuff is junk .....I will put a Chevy motor in it before I ever give Crites ANOTHER DOLLAR !!!! 6208's are junk ....Ford Powertrain's look cool but point at the crossmember !!! 2K Custom headers for a thousand dollar car here I come ...goodie some guy is going to keep my car hostage for a year !!!!

    My 72 ....

    I dont have enough time to wash my car I am busy working on other peoples stuff ......I wanted nice stuff that works not some Frankenjunk that I have to beat with a hammer to clear the plugs and sawsall the shock towers to get them in the car . Not to bash anyone my 64 sat for along time ....got my shocktower butcher kit ....and waited about a year for the headers that didnt fit !!!! 10 k later I parted the thing out .
