Surely someone here has rebuilt there heater box. Can you buy a seal kit like they have for mustangs? Will a Mustang kit work? Mine has a/c and the foam is pretty much gone in most places.

What about the seal where the steering column attaches to the firewall? Will and 70 Mustang seal work? If not where can I find the correct one?

AutoKrafers sells the steering column seal.

Most mustang places sell the seal kit. Also, any good radiator (yep, radiator) shop sells and services them. They mostly do anything that has to do with heating and cooling. Give it a try.

I checked parts stores around here for a heater seal kit when I cleaned mine out.
I didn't see one in the Autokrafters catalog for these things. NAPA and Parts Plus
couldn't find one either. I just cleaned mine up, painted it and put it back together.
