Actually it was on the back burner for a year or so .The body work is about 80%complete,now getting ready to paint the engine compartment ,the engine is done .250 c.i. inline with most of the good stuff in it and a 5 speed behing it and a set of 3.80 posi gears in the back. The interior has all the parts but needs to be redone. The biggest challange infront of me will be the carb linkage thet clifford stuff is just clunky,I have tested this set up in a 63 falcon and kind of liked it but the falcon is giong to be my street burner ,stroker 351 and all the other stuff, just decided to finish the comet for the autorama coming uo this thanks giving then I have a 70 mach 1 428scj that i will be restoring next than finally the falcon ,I have quite a few old fords and just got to busy the last few years to get serious but now i need to get after it .Thanks for the interest

Welcome to the board. Sounds like a unique project. Are you using that 3 carb set up?

yes i am using a 3 carb set up (autolite 1100 series) i had a friend of mine (saniweld) machine me some new venturis that will flow approx. 230cfm each ,should be interesting ,I plan on having him build me a single rod progressive linkage for the set up like i said that clifford set up worked but was ugly and just plain clunky working ,should be a couple of months to get it rollong and running then ,off for a black paint job w/ argent trim,I hope to have it ready for the auto rama in novemember.I hope they will let me enter the stock class and i hope to run some mid 14's at houston raceway park ,we'll see??
