Hello, I need to know if some has used an awsome cleaner that will actually buff out a lens (instrument speedo lens) and provide a clean and clear view which leaves no scratches or hazes of any sort. If so, please let me know what product was used. Thanks to all.

dtlcast; 71gold put me onto a great polisher for plastics. First, smooth it out with 1000 or 2000 grit emory cloth or sandpaper, used wet, and then Close-Up toothpaste and a towel. Wet the towel well, put a copious amount of paste, and rub the plastic over the towel, polishing it to a clear finish. Works great. Hope this helps.

Hello and thanks for responding, did this approach result a water clear finish to the lens? The close up tooth paste is not as abrasive as others, right? I actually have some in the house. Let me know before I start. Thanks.

The other thing that has always worked well for me (at least on the plastics found on new cars headlights) is metal polish. It is not very abrasive and works wonders.
