The transmission doesn't care what balance the engine is. The main question is what year is your bellhousing. The T-5 era bellhousings are too deep and the transmission input shaft will fall short and not reach the pilot bearing

As rthomas stated, engine imbalance is irrelevent to the transmission. It IS relevant to the flywheel imbalance. Sounds like you've got a 164 tooth bell, so you'll need a 164 tooth flywheel to match the bell, with the correct imbalance to match the engine. The headers may have a problem with the bigger bell, if you already have headers and they were designed for the smaller bell.

Its possible to change the balance on a flywheel for exemple 28 oz to 50 oz ? thank you

Yea, it is possible, but easier to do the other way.....50 to 28. In doing a 28 to 50, you have to add weight. If you need a 50 oz wheelm, buy a 50 oz wheel. Same one for a late model 5.0 with a T-5 will do if your motor needs a 50 oz wheel in a 157 tooth size. You will just have to use the 5.0's diaphram style pressure plate, in place of a long style P/P.

Headers and flywheel teeth would be the least of your worries. If the bellhousing is wrong you won't be going no where.
