How can I tell the difference????

    I am going to look at my first Maverick found a running 1970 Maverick Grabber with a 302 complete..The owner says it is a grabber is there a way to confirm with the Vin???? This is my first Maverick and I am a real novice...BUT EXCITED>>>>

    No 1970 came with a 302, as for being a Grabber it depends upon the color and the interior. Have a look here for more info, Grabberregistry

    I Know the engine has been replaced it was worked on by a local street rod guy who wanted to make this car his next sleeper..He has been in many ford magazine articles..Ed Thomas from Delaware...I want to keep as original interior and paint as I can but have a sleeper under the hood....

    Not on a 1970 .... only original paint or original paperwork will indicate it's a factory Grabber in 1970 ...

    A tale-tale sign might be the sport mirrors and spoiler, right (not that they couldn't have been added earlier)?
