Well Donnie was wanting to know on another thread and I thought it might be a good thread of its own how many people are going to race. I plan on filming and my car isn't a racer so I will be there for moral support.

    Donnie how about you?

I would race but I still need to work on my car. Maybe next year, I'm going to have to take some before and after pics to put on this board. I think you'll be surprised by how much it has changed. Also, what is the largest engine you can put into a Mav? Or would the 302 I have be enough to race competetively?

Please...I hope no one thinks this is about having a totally wicked car.
Its more about having a good time, learning a little about racings(some guys last year took their first ever trip down the 1320 at the round-up) and seeing what your car will do. There will be a few "racers" there that will lay down some good times.
I know myself I enjoyed watching 2 mavericks line up against each other and tearing down the track. Please, I hope no one is intimidated to the point they won't run their cars. everybody will be there to help someone out if needed, if there is any questions, there will be some experienced racers there to help answer them. No on gets made fun of or anything like that. Its all about learning and having a good time.
So, bring your ride, whether it runs 8's or it runs 18's. Its gonna be a blast!!!!!!!!

My car isn't a racer either but I'm gonna run it. Last year was fun.
