For me my Maverick is my daily driver, to work and back and running errands and cruise nights/car shows. Anybody else out there drive it daily or close to it? My other cars that currently run are a 74 ford 4x4 and 55 chevy wagon with an LS1 that is daily driven by my girlfriend. No more smog cars for me.

I drove my comet daily after I first got it. I miss driving that car but took it off the road so i could fix a few things and am still working on getting to it. Hopefully this summer will be my starting point. I had a 77 4 door that was my daily until it got totaled out by a lady that ran a red light when i turned left. I would still be driving that car if it hadn't died a terrible death.

I drove my '71 every day from 2005 to 2009, including two of the worst snow and ice storms in 20 years. 10-12,0000 miles a year. First two years with the i6 and the last two with a 306. Loved it. Learned a few things the hard way. Now I have a daily and can afford to keep the maverick out of the bad weather.

Daily driver from 1982 to 1999. Then got a "company" car that was for work only. Still used the Maverick for everything else until I took it apart in September 2013. Just about done. Now I will need to decide how much I will drive it.

Love that little car. Years ago, It was just another Maverick on the road. Now, people stare and ask what it is.

I drove my 4dr from 1998-2003 everyday. Work, school, roadtrips, you name it. Back in 2002, one of the coldest days we had here, My 200 I6 started right up when the 99 Silverado and the 98 Taurus and 98 Breeze wouldn't. When I get my Grabber back on the road, it will see some miles, but ONLY "fair weather" miles. ;)

I got my car specifically for fun/hobby -- have/had no intention for it being a daily driver. I was going to a lot of events as a spectator and got tired of being a spectator, was big part of acquiring the car. It is insured/licensed in the state of Illinois as a antique vehicle, to be used on limited basis. I have never has a problem w/ police whenever I drive it in the realm of violating limited use status. I don't need it as a DD, have two other cars as DD's.

Too much work done to be a daily, plus as others have mentioned it's licensed & insured for limited usage... I did have a couple with 250 in the mid '80s...

My Cobra was a daily from '73 till around '82 and T-Bird was more or less a daily till it poped a head gasket...

3-4 days a week. I did the EFI conversion with the intention of driving it daily.
