Found a good grabber hood. the guy says there is no rust underneath, I haven't seen it yet. He wants 200.00 for it but I can't make up my mind if I should pay that much:huh: . What does everyone think is a good price?

That is an awesome price if it's rust free.

first off, is this a grabber hood with the scoops? if it is it's a good price. any other grabber hood is just the same as any other maverick hood.

If it's just a flat hood that says Grabber on it it's worth $70 tops.

I was told it is a grabber hood with the scoops I am going to look at it tomorrow. I probably will buy it just from the response I got already. I may be a fool if I pass it up.

Good catch ... a "Grabber Hood" can sometimes be different than "a hood from a Grabber" ..... I personally would never call a 70 or 73-75 Grabber hood a "Grabber" hood ... but as we have seen on eBay ... there are folks that do ...

Man, where and when did this whole Boss 302 Maverick thing get started? They must have made thousands and thousands of Boss 302 Mavericks with all the people I have talked to that either had one or knew someone that did.

Jamie,, everybody who had a 302 in a ford car in their past had a boss in it,,, mainly due to the fact that the 302 was a factory 4V car,,altered by every owner after the Arab oil embargo of 1974. that made it a boss for shore!! And the story goes downhill from there.
