Well all, I haven't been on in quite a while, been hella busy working. =( Anyhow, I bought a condo and now I dont have a garage. I have a 73 mav with a 302 that I bought with the intention of swaping the 302 into my 70. Working 80+ hours a week and with the loss of my garage it's not gonna happen unless I have a shop do it, How much should I expect a shop to charge me?

At $75 an hour ... figure at least 10 hours plus parts and materials ... that's considering everything goes smoothly and there's no troubleshooting. Now since you are going from a 6 to an 8 you probably have to throw in a different transmission and switch all the 4-lug stuff to 5-lug stuff ... Probably better to find a buddy with a garage and use some vacation time to get it done ...

Become friends with a mechanic ... a case or two of beer will get you a long way.
