take out the instrument cluster, you can reach the bulb sockets from behind.
it's maybe a good idea to upgrade to led bulbs.

I replaced mine without taking the cluster out...but I had to stand on my head to reach up from the back to get to them

    leds should be much brighter.
iirc, it's 3 for general illumination, 4 idiot lights, two turn signals and one high beam - 10 in total.

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
While your at it replace the side marker bulbs since theyre the same bulb. I used 5w5 and they were twice as bright as the new stock replacements.

When you install your LED make sure you install them in the right way.. They are polarized + to + and - to -

And the high beam indicator you may want to put a dark blue plastic over it the LED are very bright and will you in the eyes when you have them on..

I have all LED in my dash and have only the one problem with the high beam ..

I went to 5W5's and still wasn't that satisfied. As stated earlier, only 3 are used for general illumination so you don't really need expensive LED's for all those others. I painted the inside of the cluster white and it made the difference I was looking for.
