Almost there guys. I have to install the new window felts and the beltline weatherstrips on the doors. I kind of tinkered with it about a week ago and it doesn't look fun. I really don't want to scratch my arms all up. Are there any secrets or tricks to this that you can share with me?

Its actually very easy to replace this stuff. Pull the window out first. That gives you plenty of room to get the belt line in and makes it bunches easier to install the glass run felt. The old stuff pulls right out and the new stuff pushes right in. You have to cut a 90 degree notch where the felt takes a 90 degree turn on the horizontal to verticle channel. Its best do it making a mark where it needs to be cut, lay the felt flat on a table so the groove is up and the back side is flat against the table, then cut a 45 in both directions through the side pieces only (that will make a 90). Leave the back section intact. Hope you understand this, if not let me know and I can draw a pic. The belt line is just held on with clips. You will usually destroy the old stuff taking it off.

a good time to oil up everything while the panal is off. you might want to check and see that all bolts are tight. also look in the bottom of the door and make sure the drain holes are clear..frank...
