went from 215/60r15 to 225/60r15, and now not sure if I like the stance.

Are the 225/60s too big on the front?

I guess I am stuck with them for a few years at this point.

Good thing, ironically, is that they seem easier to steer without power steering...

I had a nice low stance all around, and those 255/60s out back were part of it.

That is why I am asking now. I think the 225/60s are too tall a match for the 255/60s. I wonder if I should have gone 225/55?

I couldn't get the original 215/60s which gave the car a nice posture...

Besides, I already scrape the rear tires when I gun it, so I cannot go taller out back unless I go narrower...

Or get that fender lip roller.

that little bit of light beteen the tire and rear of the fender kinda give it that too small look. try taking a picture standing towards the back half of the door instead of the front tire. i bet it will look beter from that angel. it would look even beter if you stand infront of the rear tire.

I checked a tire calculator and your new tire size is 1/2 inch larger diameter. That should result in 1/4" raise in the body and 1/4" more tire tucked up under the fender lip. Doesn't sound like much difference to me:huh:

Actually more than 1/2", because the old ones were almost completely bald. So probably closer to an inch. But you are right overall.

The rears are currently 27" tall, which is a pretty tall tire in my opinion. My slicks are only 26".

It might just be the incline of the driveway and/or the letters on the wheels throwing off my view.

    Sure rides better now.
