Just got back from a 1350 mi trip down through the Carolinas and savannah Ga taking the coast. Wife and I lost track of the people who stopped and smiled gave a thumbs -up and all around admired our 77 mav so many folks told us thier:bananaman maverick story . Our car(77) now has 34500 original miles on it and it did great weather we were cruising down 17 south at 60mph or coming home on 95 north doing 75mph that little 6cyl (250cid) just humming along.Working on posting some pics but having a little trouble will figure it out after I rest up some ...back to work tomorrow:cry:

Glad you had a great trip. Always nice to hear the comments about the Maverick or Comet. Seems everyone had someone in their family that had one.:)

Man, if you were in Charleston SC I wish you would have said something! I would have met up with you and showed you around the town!

I'm glad to hear you had a great trip! Traveling in a classic does have it's high points doesn't it? :thumbs2: :camera:
