ok thanks, I herd a guy used a GM style hei distributor from summit and had no issues, looks like my best option would be to go petronix or DSII box, I may do the second so I wont have to buy another distributor. looking for an ignition setup with as few wires as possible. has anyone had any luck with over the counter DSII boxes?

I bought a top of the line from Napa and had no problem with it. They say the cheap $25-$30 discount part stores units won't last long. I'm not a big fan of the HEI design.

    Summit ready to run

I'm runnin a summit brand ready to run distributor in my 302 roller motor. I'm pleased with the quality an ease of installation. I've had no issues so far. It came with different weight springs and bushings to control it advance. Best part was its cheap and seems to be decent quality. Just my 2 cents.
