Live wires

Does anybody know where I can find a list of what wires are always live in the electrical system on my 71 Comet?

I have the shop manual but for some reason they don't have an overall wiring schematic that I can find. I am just trying to find which wires are live when the battery is hooked up, but no key in the ignition.

I may be mistaken but I be leave the big yellow wire under the dash is hot all the time.

 

Idunno about listing all of them but one that is hot all the time is the cigarette lighter wire.

The thing that I had a terrible time finding was a wire that was hot ONLY when the key switch is in the "Run" position. I needed a wire that is only hot when the key switch is in the run position for my tach and I am pretty sure I ended up going to the fuse panel to the idiot light fuse.

 

correct...i have my radio memory connected to this one


i also had my tach connected to this one...and it fried up
