Location of gas tank on '74 comet?

    Where is the gas tank located in a '74 comet? :hmmm: Trying to mount some subs and don't want to drill into it if its under the trunk.

    Maybe the rear seat braces or decklid braces wud be an option. I wud hesitate drilling the trunk floor unless the tank was out of the car.

    Why would you need to drill the floor for subs?

    I've never mounted a box in the trunk... atleast not screwed to the floor. That's why I was asking. I wasn't sure if he was trying to screw/bolt it to the floor or trying to run wires
