Ed PS: I'm also one of the "nuts" who sells NOS Maverick parts at the swap meets. My Father has dragged me around to 1,000's of Ford Dealers since I was five (I turn 40 this month). The business is getting tougher and tougher. I'll make 25-30 calls just to find one specific NOS Mav part for one of my good customers. Before you go blasting the vendors, you should realize how much work & money goes into preparing for a show, the enormous effort it takes to locate quality NOS parts these days...and the fact that we're paying top dollar when we find these parts. You don't have to pay the high prices, but you do have to realize the day of finding a pair of NOS Black Maverick Headlight Doors in Da Box for $100 is essentially gone. Supply and demand sucks sometimes. Until someone steps up and repops some of the hard to find parts, it ain't gonna get any easier or cheaper. Sorry for the long post but I had to vent!!
