... question keeps surfacing : . AFAIH - Mavericks and Comets were equipped with the inline six in about 80% of the 69-77 production or 4 out of 5 - six's vs V8 equipped cars built. Haven't been able to find actual figures. . Info / source for this info appreciated. . thanks .
If you can find enough Marti Reports for each year, numbers can be calculated. Will no doubt require some time. Here's a start.... 14,474 '71 Mav had 170 & three speed. Now just need to find how many were automatic (zero, wasn't offered), also same numbers for 200, 250 & 302. Subtract number of 6cyl from V8s.
