    The Maverick Comet Group would like to welcome everyone.

    The MCG has many big things in store for everyone who owns a Maverick or Comet....and even thoughs that don't. This is a fun, family oriented group that has a main goal of making everyone feel welcome....feel like you are a part of something.....be who you are; nothing more, nothing less.

    Our website is now up and running.....please check it out!
    We will be making updates often on the site so keep on checking in!

    *First big official announcement of the MCG is the 1st annual
    Maverick Comet Group GATHERING. hosted by Ward Frahler*

    July 18-22, 2007
    Elizabethtown, KY.

    Host hotel:
    Best Western Atrium Gardens
    1043 Executive Drive, Elizabethtown, KY 42701


    Cost: $69 a night (2 free breakfast included)
    *mention the Maverick Comet Group when making reservation

    Thursday: early bird activity being planned. Drag racing that night with the
    1st annual MCG Bracket Nationals and unlimited T&T.

    Friday: Family day to include MCG power tour to a nearby tourist attraction.
    Friday night, for all that want to attend, the MCG will invade US60
    dragway to race the weekly bracket program.
    Come get some KY. $$$$$$

    Saturday: Car show/picnic
    We will load up early to head to the local park for a day full of
    car show (judged and non-judged) along with a cookout with
    famous BBQ chef from Iowa. Many family activities at the park
    for children young and old.

    john, good deal. glad to see some info. i'll send out my money today for the mcg. glad to see the dates for the gathering. i'll be there, and then on to the roundup. this will make for a nice vacation for me to attend two mav/comet events. can only mean 2X the fun. thanks don:bananaman

    Just to let everyone know the rooms will be available this friday. If you call mention the Maverick Comet Group to get the discount. $69 a night plus tax and it comes with 2 hot breakfast buffets per day.

    I will be sending you a check. It looks like the Sprint will make her 1st show your 1st show. This is so close to home I might even get Dad to drive the Grabber down for me!!
    At any rate I look forward to seeing you and all the other members in E-town. Now if I can just get enough time off to go to VA.. Uhmmmm....
