I was thinking about this the other day. We have a list of parts that swap onto a Maverick/Comet from other Fords, why not compile a list of Maverick / Comet specific parts, parts that are only found on Mavericks and Comets? Of course the obvious first thing would be sheet metal and some interior parts, but I'm talking more about parts that were designed to bolt on that only a Maverick or Comet would use that one piece, and that design wasn't used on other Ford cars.

    I'll start the list out:
    1. exhaust manifolds
    2. engine stands

Get the picture? Add your own, and then we can compile a list so that when a question comes up on what was there to start with, we'll all know.
To qualify, the part must have been only used on a Maverick or Comet, no other Ford Product, excluding sheetmetal and things such as door panels, dash pads, etc. It will be interesting to see how many parts were designed for our cars and never used on anything else.

I know I shouldn't question the pros but I thought the exhaust manifolds were interchangeable between a lot of cars and small blocks from the 289 to the 351W?

How about the switch and it's mount for the grill lamps under the dash on the Grabbers?

Not sure about that one Eric, are you talking 70 model only because of the smaller tunnel? I know the later models used the same crossmember as a Granada.

Keep'em coming guys, got to be more that this few...

I believe at least the drivers side is Mav/Comet only....

    I think that's a given fact!(y)

If you're talking about the weird angled power brake booster, I would say probably so....
