Hi, my name is Ashleigh, i got my 76 4door mav when i was 14. I purchased it for $1500, well my dad bought it for me. I'll be 17 in a couple of weeks and i'll have my drivers license! I've been driving it, shoo dont tell ne one, just up and down my road. ^^ i really love it, i guess becuase its my first car. Right now its red, but im hopefully getting it painted "kill bill" yellow for my upcoming bday. I found this site when i was looking around for a set of original hubcaps and i thought it was cool. Anyway, i'm really planning on putting alot of work into my car. (its not going to be my only vehicle though >.> gas is a killer) I'm hopefully going to get a "travel friendly" vehicle for graduation. That doesn't mean im forgetting about the maverick though! i would never! I've been thinking about naming it, but i cant think of a good name. :/ Yeah, thats all for now.
Welcome aboard Ashleigh...nice to see more Mississippians. We seem to be few and far between. There are quite a few younger generation on here with Mavs and it seems to be increasing all the time. Glad to see another MS. fan also. I have a 71 comet and my 16 year old son has a 70 maverick. We live in Meridian. Are you anywhere close?
