Maverick Project in Brazil - Suspension Suggestion Needed

    Greetings everyone,

I've been following the forum for a couple weeks.

I just purchased a bare chassi to start a whole new project. PArts are scarce and difficult to get down here, so all and every help is welcome and very appreciated.

The idea is to build a Daily Driver, with lots of power, but with optimum handling characteristics.

Since the chassi is down to the bone, so all suggestions are welcome.

My main area of dilema are the suspension.

The front end - shall I opt for a IFS or try to fix the current setup, any suggestions, maybe a coilover?

The rear suspension, the wonderbar setup seemed adequate to build locally, more suggestions here?

As for the rest, engine, will stick with 302, no BBF down here - and ported heads, cam, qadrijet, etc.

    Tranny - will select a T5.

    Please loads of suggestions....

    Cheers everyone

they have some awesome suspsion systems coilovers and what not

far as the engine 302 would be perfect
just depends on how much you want to spend

you can get ladder bar/ 4 link set up for the rear, but leaf springs can work

many other opions , speed cost how fast you want to go?

by the way looks like you got a soild car there good luck w/ it

    Thanks Eddie.

I can get a four link kit here, but it seems too intrusive. Anyone with a picutres of a setup?

That's the nicest freakin donor I've ever seen! If there's alot of body filler in it, it's hard to tell, so someone did good body work at least. Welcome

    Have to agree!

Maybe when you disassemble the donor, would you send the plastic filler to me? Sure would help to smooth my body!

    Good Luck! Nice project
