some of this does need to go into parts interchange but some of it not.

seatbelts where in the world can i find seatbelts and whats a resonable price?
weatherstriping cant find that stuff but when i do its like 800$(thats a 3rd of what i paid for my car) :eek3: yea i know is it worth it?
is there any year in which i could just interchange it Ex: a mustang, heard some of those parts are close.

IF you still have your original belts, you can have them redone fairly cheap. Seat belt material is easy to come buy. Any upholstery shop has it. If you need the whole belts, post it in the wanted section. Weather-stripping is expensive and AutoKrafters is about the only game in town. Its very car specific so nothing else is going to fit right.

Who told you it was "CHEAP" to rework a Maverick! People told me it is Double to do a Ford compared to a Chevy. I believe them Now but it was worth it, every garage in town seems to have a chevy of some flavor or another in it and they act like they have something special I just smile!
    Hang in there Good Luck!

chevy's are everywhere! Ive had at least 8 camaros but everyone has one. This time around I wanted something not as comon. That is what attracted me to the maverick. When I was a teenager in high school my best friend had a 70 mav with a 351w,we had a blast in that car! It was very fast! Back then everything was fast on the street. From the get go Ford parts are more costly and harder to find! I think It makes It fun when you have to locate and search for things. It makes me value the ford project even more.
