Are the Maverick motor mounts different from all others? I can't find them. what is the part #? Where is a good place to get parts?
With limited info provided, Rockauto has 302 mounts... https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog....0l+302cid+v8,1132119,engine,motor+mount,5552
The original 302 motor mounts had a "stud" that attached to the upper/lower halves (which prevented mounts from separating) and was filled in with rubber. All the aftermarket ones that I have seen, only have rubber that bonds the halves together...... You can see the "stud" version in the 2nd picture of the RockAuto link that Tom provided...... David
Melvins has them... MOTOR MOUNT 302 - RH & LH Year1971-1977 Item#2316 Price$25.50EACH Qty MOTOR MOUNT TO FRAME HARDWARE 2 BOLTS/2 NUTS Year1970-1977 Item#MF020 Price$15.95KIT QtyAdd
I would suggest getting the mounts with safety anchors (like the factory used) if possible. Many of the cheaper replacement mounts don't have them. If they are not available, you can make your own safety anchors...
