mounting a grabber spoiler?

    curious if some of you have mounted a grabber spoiler before? if anybody has measurements from center to center of each hole would be great. or maybe a template? trying to do a neat job any help would be great thanks guys.

    You might want to get hold of Craig Selvey. I believe he used to loan out a template. Just pay for the shipping. Good luck.

    It is pretty easy to do without a template. Just lay the spoiler across the deck lid and use the studs to mark the center of each hole. Center punch the marks and drill with a metal 1" hole saw. If you look at the profile of the trunk, you drill right in the center of the radius.

    thanks guys, i honestly would like to use a template ill try to get a hold of the guy with it. its probably not hard to do but im a perfectionist. worse comes to worse ill just use the 1 inch hole saw.

    That is exactly what I did and it came out really well. I was off just a slight hair with a hole or 2 and few seconds with a round file fixed me right up (y)

    I did like Mavaholic did when I installed a Grabber spoiler on my Comet.

    sitting the spoiler up on the lid is what I did, that's exactly where the holes go...:huh:

    You don't need a template. Just measure the positions of the studs and mark them on the trunk lid. Use a hole-saw, and drill right on the edge at a 45 degree angle. Easy stuff.
