I have heard of the compatibility of early mustang parts and maverick parts....does any one have a concrete list?? I have seen tid-bits here and there but nothing like what I'm looking for. My main intrest right now is suspension parts, Upper and lower control arms, bushings, tie rod ends.... Any help would be great.:)

I believe the majority of the front suspension is the same. The Upper control arm is definitely the same as well as the coil spring perch. On my 72 with power steering the inner tierod is the same as a 70 mustang.

Usually what I do is look up the part on AutoKrafters who nicely tells you what other vehicles the parts fit. 99% of the time Mustang is in the list. Then I buy the part cheaper at the counter from my local Mustangs Unlimited.

I bought then entire front suspension rebuild kit from Kanter.com then added the inner tierods to the kit.

I bought my complete Upper control arms from some other Mustang place who had them for like $60 each. Don't remember the name. You will have some extra parts left from the kanter kit since it includes the parts to rebuild your upper control arm.

Got my Spring perches and tie rod adjusters from Mustangs unlimited.
