need some info Front Disc Brakes Swap

    found a 1972 mustange coupe wanted to know if i can use this car for a disk brake conversion i have a 1970 maverick any help would be great

    agreed. they'll work. most people use the factory maverick or granada stuff just because it's easier to find but the mustang/cougar works as well

    thanks guy it worked perfect was a lot of fun to put on but every thing worked out great feels a lot much better when i stop and now with that booster well i don't know if u all ever drove your car with out it let me tell one leg stats looking better than the other:rofl:

    i got it off the 72 mustang had to take it in to oreilly auto parts and got a re built one want to get a newer one but i figure it will work just the same

    I thought our boosters were unique to our cars. I hope you plan on putting your shock tower to fire wall braces back on. Especially with a V-8.....

    my maverick is a 70 as far as i know i dont think it came with a booster that year both of mine did not have one when i bought them

    Mavericks did not have boosters until 75. And even then it was bolted at an angle because it wouldn't fit behind the shock towers. Are you saying the Mustang booster bolted right up?

    yea it was a lot of fun an all but yea i was able to get every thing in the booster on that mustang is very small an compact

    +1..... I got a buddy that has 2 of these mustangs in his back yard he has been stripping parts off of to build his mach 1
