Saw several different steering wheels at the national roundup. I'm thinking of swapping out my steering wheel for the type that has the center horn button. What all will swap with a Maverick of Comet? Just asking mainly for future reference. Will a steering wheel from a Mustang, Pinto, or Gran Torino fit a Mav if they were the same early to mid-70's model?
Just about any Ford wheel will fit from the early and mid 70's. The 3 spoke sport wheel seems to be a popular one. When you are looking, make sure it has the holes on the underside and the horn contacts on the inside. The holes are to lock the steering wheel when the key is removed.
