Does anyone know if you can put a oil pan from a 200 cu. engine on a 250 cu. engine? I need a new one and I cann't find one anywhere. If anyone can help me out it would be nice.

They should interchange being that they are in the same family of engines.

i'd check if anyones done it first. autokrafters catalog has an oil pan and they only mention it fits 170/200. i don't know as i've never played with the 6.

No, the 170/200 oil pan does not work on the 250. You will have to find one specifically for a 250.

What about the valve covers? I was just wondering about that one because my 72 grabber is supposed to have a 200 in it but the valve cover says its 250 CID.

Valve covers are interchangeable, as is the entire head. How many bolts hold your water pump on?

Three bolts is a 170/200, four bolts is a 250.
