Took the bench seats out, and installed the driver side bucket from a Honda (haven't installed the passenger seat yet). Then put the battery in the trunk on driver side (removed from the front passenger side), and accidentally drilled a hole in my spare tire from right side of trunk, so it is out with a patch in it.

Now look at my stance! 1" higher in the right rear, 3/4" higher in the right front.

And it looks worse in real-life...the picture actually corrects the problem a bit.

I am not sure if the spare tire and passenger bucket will correct the problem. That is approximately 70 lbs removed from the right side, and 50 lbs added to the left (or 120 lbs transferred). It is even worse when I add the 190 lb driver. Any suggestions for evening it up?

I will install the spare and seat before I make any corrections/adjustments.

when you put the battery in the trunk you normally put it on the passenger side. i have 2 optima batteries there.:)

I put the battery in the driver side since I already had the spare tire in on the passenger side. I figured "balance it out" but apparently it is "too balanced", hence, now "Eileen".

I want to cut the front springs to lower the front end, should cut to match the lean, or cut evenly and move things around to even out the weight distribution?

After reading some of my postings, I recognize that sometimes, I sound like I know what I am talking about.

i would plan on cutting them evenly so the distribution is the same on both sides. if not your handling may suffer. put the passenger seat back in and make sure you only have heavy friends.:biglaugh:

Plus......those rear shackles are not helping anything.

Those rear shackles are not hurting any, are they?

They give me about 1" to 1.5" lift, max. The rest is air shocks, at minimum 25psi pressure. I had to get the rear end up a bit so the sidepipes would clear speedbumps (no comments from TL, please).

This site is the best place in the world to get razzed about shackles and air shocks. Being a shackle offender myself, and an air shock razzer, I can say that from experience.

I would suggest putting the battery on the passenger side and the spare on the drivers side....if you ever want to go racing, you will/can remove the spare, but you are stuck with the battery :D .
