Question. On my 70 maverick the outer wheel wells the ones that attach to the quarter panels are rotten. What I was wondering is would a outer wheel well from a mustang would work or is there a different one that would.

Nope, sorry. The outer wheel wells are unique to the Mavericks. When they rot out, new ones have to be made to fit.

I though that if I cut down a mustang or falcon outer wheel well it would work

I have used just the lower patch panel for the inner wheel well from a Mustang but it takes some reshaping to get it to work. For me anyways, it was easier than starting with flat metal.
