POLL How Many Maverick did you see this week?

thought this one would be fun.

it doesn't need to be this week but in general how many Mavericks do you see in a week? if not in a week just in general how many to you see in a six month time span.

btw yours don't count and seeing someone your know with a maverick doesn't count either... going to the junk yard don't either

 

aside from the maverick and comet in my yard i never see any. im suprised to see any car made pre-1990 around here though espically a maverick

 

The last one I saw was over a year ago. It was a 73 4 door and it was for sale. $450 but there wasn't a straight or solid panel on it anywhere that I could see, the interior was trashed, both bumpers bent (you get the picture). :deadhorse

 

I spotted 4 this week about 30 miles from my house; 3 -2 doors and 1- 4 door. One of the 2 doors was complete, as was the 4 door. The other 2 looked like they may have had some useable parts on them. When I get a few extra bucks, I'm going to check on all of them. Best thing was they were all within 5 miles of each other!

I see them alot, but your rules cancelled out a bunch of them.

I saw that one in corona CA last week, other than that, I see one that some highway maintenance guy drives about once every 3 or 4 months.

When I go to California, I see many more. There are a couple on Belmont Shores in Long Beach, pretty much anywhere you drive where people park their cars out in the alleys or on the street, you will see one or two.

 

I am one of them . I have not seen another maverick in town in well over a year but I do get alot of "hey you`r the kid with the maverick , when ya gonna get it on the road?"

if the right day comes and i drive around a little bit i can find 5ish maybe more if you count rusted out mavs

 

It's funny you ask this...
I go for months without seeing a Maverick in person. Hardly ever see them at all.
However, this past week I have seen several!
I am amazed at how many...
So the way your question is worded, and the timing of it, I had to answer 5...
Any other week, it would be a never.

I saw two today, in a junk yard. Both coupes, one still had the 302-V8 still in it. I would have gotten the throttle cable, but it was gone.

I didn't have the time to pull the V-8 brackets, but anyone in the SoCal area can go get them.
Location - Ecology Auto in Santa Fe Springs.

There is one guy at work that has a survivor 1975'ish bug bumper 4 door sedan that he drives most every day. One around the corner from the house too, yellow coupe with a single sport mirror.

 

I know one guy with a 72 4dr, another guy with a 72' 2d that was for sale and i dont know if he still has it. over the summer i spotted a really nice blue maverick at a car show. had a turbo small block, really cool. theres a blue shell sitting at a local yard and aside from my 2 cars those are the only mavericks/comets ive ever seen in person.

 

I am lucky to see 1 or 2 Mavericks a year just randomly driving around. Other then that, I only see mine, ones in the junkyard, or the other GA gang's cars.

I have seen four Comets randomly driving around in the past 7 years. All four were 4 door Comets.

This is also not counting cars that I know of that are just sitting in a yard or somewhere. I know where a bunch of Mavericks and Comets sit at, but I only see one or two actually driving.

I seen two ( 2 ) this week one in carson ca. pulling a hot dog cart (big bumper 2 dr ) beator . An one in mira loma ca. orange small bumper chrome wheels mice car
