i promised pics of the new ride in the new members section so here you go..its pretty much a stock 73 comet, hope you enjoy. let me know what you think
ive got a decent 73 bumper that needs to be rechromed, but if i can find a small bumper im gonna convert it
mercurycruizers what chin spoiler are you running? the dashpad has been replaced but its mint so im not gonna worry about it(plus i kinda like the black on blue). thanks for the feedback...stay tuned for updates as im gonna be workin on it as much as possible and ill post up pics whenever i get a chance
Just FYI in case you didn't know: In order to change to the small bumper on your 1973, you will need to also change the lower valance, the center support, and the bumper brackets. The stone guard is also different, but you could use the 1973 stone guard if you cut it down.
When i changed to a small front bumper on my orange 73. I notched the gravel guard to fit around the fenders. That way i could use all the other stock pieces.
Why that car is a pc. of crap!!! Can't believe the Hahns let you buy it! Just kidding Jordan, that is awesome. How many mavericks/comets in somerset now? Got to be getting close to being the mav/com capital. You are in such great co. to help you out what can anyone else here say? I have a set of 1/4s if you need them, looks like yours might have some rust issues. Sorry I missed your new mwmbers post, Welcome, Ward
where u been ward? hadnt seen you on here in a few days..im counting about 7 mavs/comets in about a 5 mile radius just off the top of my head. the 1/4s arent in too bad a shape i think were gonna try to fix them(this is a low buck resto, not a typical hahn car), but if you just want to send them to me thats cool
