Me a chuck(FastFords) went to Pull-a-part this morning just to look around. As we got there a early 80's ford van was being driven through the gate an upon the scales. as we paid I heard the guy say it had a 3-speed OD tranny in it....so I figured it would be a day or two before it got to the yard.......WRONG.....after looking around a while chuck went up and asked about it and they said it would be set in the yard shortly....and it was.....We swarmmed on it...took an hour or so to get the tranny out but it is now in my garage and going in the Grabber Chuck loaned me a Granada shifter but I would like to purchase one SOOOOOOOOOOO what do you guys use with this tranny. The P A P here has 2 2 door comets and a 4 door,also a 4 door mav.The one I hit is a 73 GT Comet.302 auto in floor w/buckets.Color,burnt orange int. white ext. Igot the shifter w/hump,column,headlight bezels,armrests and the grill.Also got shift link off of trans. Any body mind telling me how to start a new post or toppic,please?
