So I just experienced my first rain with my new Maverick. I knew it had a rust hole at the lower bottom of the drivers door, near the Hindge, and assumed this was because that Was a common spot for water to pool. Well I got into my car to go to work this morning, and noticed that the entire driver floorboard(which is Fairly new carpet) was Soak. This leads me to believe that water is also coming through from near the fire wall somehow.

The top seals around the door have a but if a gap(enough to see light) but I always thought that was fairly standard with these cars also.

Has Anyone faced similiar problemns in heavy rain/ has CHEAP solutions for these problems?

I just need someone to go through this entire car with me and get it "ready" for daily driving.

It's the cowl, run some water in the top, and see where it goes...

My sprint needed the floor replaced on the drivers side but the cowls were good. My leak was from the seal on the windshield. It was bad. :)

Run a water hose all over the windshield and into the cowl vents at the base of the windshield, shouldn't take long to figure out where the leak is.
