to make it clear im talking about this peice: as you can see it's recked/cracked and needs replaced. (btw the driver's side one is fine) the gentelman i bought the car from told me that when he got it, the left side one was missing. so he tryed to replace it with one from a four door comet. And according to him the 4dr one must be different from the 2dr one because when he try to put it on it just wouldnt work (hence the cracks) I'm not sure if this is true, or if it actually does fit and he just did a slopy job (the seem to be the same size/shape). In anycase i need this peice. And i've found out no after market peice is readily available. does anyone know, off hand, what versions are compatible with my 1974 2dr big bumper comet? -will a maverick peice fit? -will a four door fit? -and does anyone have this peice off a parts car or something who could sell it to me? thanks for any help guys.
