    About 3:30pm. Anyone from here?

If I didn't know better, I would have thought it was Rick Book in his gold car...

What color was it? I may have seen it as well. I have a ton of pics of mavericks I've come across in and around the South Bay/Greater L.A. area.

    Psychic...:tiphat:

I have been in Seal Beach for the past week taking care of my grandmother, who is recovering from a VERY recent hip replacement surgery.

On one of my grocery runs, a car similar to this passed me, but too quick for me to set my cell phone to CAMERA and get a shot.

Sorry to hear about your grand mother. Hope she is getting better.

If you can get away and want a car diversion contact me. I'm racing slot cars in Santa Monica Saturday (Regional champ race) and there is the Bob's Cruise night on Friday. NHRA has a cruise night at the museum, maverick Man (Derrick) lives close and we could harrass him too.

How long will you be in the area?

I would if I could. But I am heading home tonight. I pretty much had to stay at the house to assist granny. She is doing very good. 85 yrs old, yesterday was the end of WEEK 4, and her physical therapist wants her off her walker and on a cane now. I got her to where she can shower without assistance, can do her cooking and pick up her mail. She still cannot do the laundry, but I got that taken care of for the next week. Cannot drive yet, so family will have to stop in every week or so to fill in the blanks.

Nah. I tried that once. When I hit second gear leaving a left turn signal at a 4-way stop, the a$$ end broke loose and we went down the road sideways. Normal for me, but not "everyday" for her. I thought she was smiling (my grandfather used to take her up in airplanes in the airforce many years ago...). Anyways, it was not a grimace of pleasure, as I found out later on....go figure...

She won't get in the car with me anymore...

Haha awesome! Did something very similar with my mom not too long ago... I haven't been spanked since I was 6 years old.

I thought she was enjoying it, she had that smile/grimace on her face the whole trip. We got back to my mom's house, she slowly gets out, and when my mom asks "How was it?" Grandma says, "Don't EVER make me do that again..." :rofl2:
