I’m putting a fuel injected engine in my 70 Maverick. The intake is in the way or the shock tower braces. Anyone done this before and what did you do for stuck tower braces?

You will have to modify the tower braces, or build or buy some custom unit.

That’s what I figured just didn’t know if some has done it before to get an idea

Take a look at my build.

I may still have a couple extra of the modified cowl brace I had custom made out of aluminum.

I would love to see them if you do. Did they fit with the efi?
Update: I just found your pictures. Let me know if you have them. My intake points the opposite direction but I would think it would still work

When I get a chance, I will get up in the attic and see if I can find them.

I built mine. Swedged rods, rod ends, spacers from Speedway. 1/4" 6061 plate from Amazon. Stainless hardware from my local bolt and screw supply.

Any idea what that stuff cost you to put it all together?

    Everything was just about $200.
