shock tower braces installed...

i went to the shop Monday and made a set of braces....
i went Thursday and made a set of stainless 1 in. rods for them...
the alum. look good but with the stainless i think i will need to polish the firewall bracket...
Do i dare ask...what do you think...

Looks good Frank. Either go all stainless look or all aluminum look, not the combo look.

What is the reason for using these, instead of using the factory braces?

 

I think it looks obvious.

It may also allow a little better access to the engine from the side.

If you road race, you have some adjustability in the body flex, felt under the hood, during hard turning situations.

 

And I thought it was so we cant leave tools and nuts and bolts laying on the factory braces.
