    Dave, could be relaxing day for you. If you win the car relish in the knowledge that I love my 77 4dr. Runs great, has AC, and the best part it is in nice enough shape for me to keep interest in it. But worn just enough for me not to be stupid about it and never drive it. I drive the wheels off that thing!!

    I went to a small local (regional I suppose) classic car auction and was surprised at some of the deals.
    I picked up a nice car for cheap.
    72 one owner big block Monte Carlo with all the trimmings for $1500.
    Was in 97, but they were going for alot more even then.

    Yeah, I suppose that the big car show will attract alot more bidders and run prices up.
    The one I went to was at the University of Arkansas Jonesboro.
    There was no other event to attract big bidders.
    There was about 250 cars on auction though.
    It was a big auction, but probably more cars than bidders.

    looks like a really nice clean car. suprised to see it say thats original paint. shame about the extra set of doors though. i'd still feel bad about stripping 'er out for parts

    I wouldn't pay more than $1K for a 4-door not matter how nice it was ... unless of course it was a 302, 3-speed car with buckets and somebody swapped a Grabber hood on it ... :)

    FYI .. .there a was 76 4-door with a 302/C4/Bench for sale at the local car show this weekend. Looked solid but definitely used ... 98,000 miles. I didn't see any rust but had a crease down one side from a fender bender. Guy want $1800 ..... :)
