I finally found a supplier for the original (NOS) 3 position/2 click Rear Defogger switches. I just ordered mine and he said they had 4 more NOS left in stock.

    Part No: D0DZ-18578-B

I will let anyone know the supplier by just PM'ing me on here, but, realize that I haven't recieved my part yet, so I can't vouch for the seller yet. They have a website and the guy was very nice on the phone.

When I receive my part in good condition I will update this post with the supplier, for everyone, but I don't want to jump the gun until I can vouch for this seller.

No worries Ryan. I had fun meeting you and the rest of the crew. You did a great job putting on the Arizona mini-meet. Your Mav looked and sounded awesome! Can't wait for the next one.

Is it Green Sales? or anyone else in the vendor links?

If so, you can post your comments and leave ratings about them there. If they are not listed, once you have a full opinion about them, you can start a new vendor for them.

Thanks for the input Eric. I looked at the vendor list, and this supplier is not listed on it yet. I will take your advice and add them when I receive my part. Thanks.

SoCalComet: You are correct. That is one, of the several parts search methods, that I used to find it, and that IS where they are located. I know how careful we have to be posting parts stuff on the general forums, so I chose to only name them by PM if any member is interested. One member has already PM'd me and I gave him the info.

Roger, Did you ever get your heater panel for the dash with the defroster slot?

Hi Bob ! Yes! I did find an NOS bezel plate last year that had the slot for the rear defogger. Those are very rare too. :thumbs2:

Try to find one with A/C & rear defogger....
Rear Defoggers were pretty common in Mavericks up here.

Yes Dave...good point. My NOS bezel has rear defogger with A/C. My 72' Grabber came stock with the A/C, package tray with spherical vents, etc, and it took me awhile to find the upgraded bezel with rear defogger, after I found the NOS rear defogger!

Now if I can just find a shifter hump for an auto floor shifter I'll be even happier.

MeanMaverick: Congrats on your new 74'!!!

FYI: This seller has only one left, of the original stock of 5, as of today.

I bought one, and others that have PM'd me have bought some.

I think I've said it before, but you can make any bezel a A/C one, you can swap the center section. I even think it was talked about in Shorthorns, years ago.
