The Maverick is the greatest car ever! NOW W/ PICS

I am very very excited to be a new member of this site. I have visited on and off for about 2 years, and NOW the time has come for me to join the ALLMIGHTY MAVERICK BROTHERHOOD! It is sooooo nice to find other people that share our (my brother and I) LOVE (some call it obsession) for the sweetest car ever made! I have a '72 maverick 2 dr w/'92 302H.O., C4, 8" rear w/ 3.80 gear and a trac loc posi unit (right now it has 1 wheel peal w/2.73 cogs, The posi unit will arive in a matter of hours and it WILL be installed TONIGHT!!!!) There is a 4 speed trans (out of a '84 F150) and clutch pedals sitting next to the car. This is our winter project, so all the info about the big manual trans swap will be greatly appreciated. There is a B & M shifter and power bucket seats on the inside along w/ an Autometer monster tach w/ shift light, also a tripple set of sunpro guages. We have March pulleys underdrive pulleys, a March pulleys BILLET ideler pulley and bracket (serp belt set up). A HEI conversion distributor (for now), also a EDELBROCK 600 cfm carb (electric choke and manual secondaries). A '78 granada disc brake conversion, (we completely replaced ALL steering Except for steering box, ALL suspension (new springs in all 4 corners, 4 leaf rears ALL the rubbers I mean EVERYTHING), the WHOLE brake system is also NEW, traction bars, summit long tube headers, stage 8 locking header bolts, MSD 8.5 mm wires and frame connectors. There might be something else but this is all I can remember off the top of my head. As you can tell WE LOVE HER VERY VERY MUCH!! WOW!!! Is all I can say!! What a difference!! There goes my gas mileage! The only othere thing I miss is with the highway gear it took alot longer for the motor to wind out and LOVED listening to it!! Oh well it was DEFINATELY worth it.
