sealed ones are better. they are like what newer cars come with. they are where you can replace the bulb only (ie: using a H4, 9006, etc) and not have to replace the actual housing. non sealed are like the ones on your maverick now.
thank you Maverick Man for you help, but why are best the sealed headlights, are more intense, brightness?? give me more visibility??? or not??
i'm sorry ours are sealed beams the old one.. i'm getting mixed up! you know what i mean. you can kinda comapre that they are sort of like a flashlight. howeve the new tech out there now is on the new cars where as they are able to use gases within the bulb and focus more of the light into a beam. making it brighter!
Ok thanx , And which are best??? Hella, Pilot, etc, others?? and the bulbs too, which are best??, I will need something in the electric system of the car?? or just to adjust or to change the plug and put in the car the new headlights??
Hella, Rybrig, PIAA, Razo or Koito. i'd go with those. everything else is cheap and won't last. they will just plug right in.. but just make sure your harness are not messed up. otherwise they sould be fine. hella makes a nice H4 set up for like 39 bucks and comes with a bulb. you can always change out the bulb later for the HID look.
