Kinda broad question. Throttle cables came with different lengths with different engines and different years. Without knowing more info it's just a guessing game. The '74 Mustang with a 2800 came with a 25" cable...a '79 Mustang with a 2800 were 17-11/16". Some had a 21-7/8", 22-7/8", 23-5/16", 27-1/4" or 23-27/32".

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
Russ(JoeDirt) is selling brackets to use 80's mustang cables.

Send him a message if you're interested. IIRC these mustang cables are still available new.

It would be 22-1/2" before 7/10/72 or 23" long after 7/10/72. The Maverick used a 21" in 72-74 and 20" in 75-77 for the 302.
