Throttle linkage

I dropped a 302 into my 70 and was wondering the best way to hook up my throttle cable to my new carb, which is too long because it was used on the old striaght six.

 

I did the same swap on mine and just put a loop in the cable . Sounds hokey but it works just fine. V8 cables are hard to find.

i have a lokar throtlle cable very easy to install

 

I used a Lokar, too. Cut it to whatever length you need.
