Vintage Comet P/S

    I took these pics at last years Detroit Autorama of Barrie Pooles early 70's vintage Comet P/S powered by a 429 Boss engine. Barrie was known as the "Border Bandit" as he was from Canada. Barrie also campaigned a slew of Mustangs and Pinto's as well under the Sandy Elliot Ford banner.
    Looked like a very nice restoration and quite accurate.

    I remember seeing his Mustang run somewhere years ago with a similar paint scheme,he ran really well if I remember correctly,was SS champ one year I think.Neat Comet.
