A friend called me up and twister my arm enough to get me to go to a local show. Turns out it was a Corvette show put on by Annapolis Corvette Club. But all cars were welcome. There was only about 6 Fords. I got a lot of positive reactions. A lot of people were actually disappointed that I didn't register the car so they couldn't vote for it. One interesting thing was a guy who sells Corvettes for a living was all over my car because back in 72, he bought a Sprint Maverick new. Another "wished he still had it." Gave me his card and said if I ever wanted to sell mine, he wanted it. I was polite but basically said "never."
Thanks guys. I was just amazed that a 90% Corvette crowd was that interested in anything other than a corvette.
